SHANNONDALE- Eva Grace Patterson, 90, Rt. 1, died at 3:50 a.m. Thursday at the Witham Hospital in Lebanon where she had been hospitalized since Sunday. Mrs. Patterson was born in Montgomery County on May 23, 1874, the daughter of John C. and Caroline Mote Beebe. On Feb. 17, 1895, she married Oscar Patterson at Darlington. He preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1948. Practically all her life, Mrs. Patterson lived in Shannondale where she was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She taught Sunday School at the church for 40 years and was president of the church Missionary Society for many years. She had been a member of the church since 1893. Mrs. Patterson was also preceded in death by a son, Earl W. Patterson, and two sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Beulah LaFollette of Shannondale, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A brother, Roy Beebe of Crawfordsville, also survives. Friends may call at the Russell & Hitch Funeral Home in Thorntown, where services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Owen Ireland will officiate, and interment will be in the Shannondale Cemetery. - Kim H
